Detailed historical information about the crimson and gold school colors of Regis College is not available at this time.
Regis College does not appear in any early Intercollegiate Bureau of Academic Costume (IBAC) lists through 1948, so the Bureau probably did not assign the college a hood lining until the late 1940s or 1950s. A list compiled by Kevin Sheard in Academic Heraldry in America (1962) described Regis’s hood lining as crimson with two gold chevrons, which was also how it was described in an IBAC list from 1972.
