The Intercollegiate Bureau of Academic Costume (IBAC) assigned Culver-Stockton College a hood lined white with a blue chevron according to IBAC lists from 1927 and 1948. The shade of blue was not precisely defined, but it was probably the college’s official “royal blue” because a list compiled by Kevin Sheard for Academic Heraldry in America (1962) cited Culver-Stockton as having a hood lining that was white with a royal blue chevron. An identical description appeared in a 1972 Intercollegiate Bureau list.
