The Intercollegiate Bureau of Academic Costume (IBAC) probably assigned a scarlet hood lining with a cream white chevron to Chicago Theological Seminary between 1895 and 1898, but a description of this hood lining assignment for the seminary does not officially appear until an IBAC list from 1927.
